Kru's Baby Blessing

We will be blessing Kru on Sunday August 31st in Scott & Ann's ward bright and early at 9 am!!! We hope everyone that will be there for the first BYU game the day before will be able to stay around for that too. We will have lunch after at their house, we can't wait to see everyone!

Summer Fun

It's been a good summer - especially the last week when Andrew and Paige were here. Here are some pictures to illustrate...


Sister Larsen told us to "come use our pool anytime!!!" and we have taken advantage of the offer over and over again. Sis Larsen loves it because she gets to see this bathing beauty, the only one I know of who would actually rather have a snack than get into the pool right away. She ate the core, too. (taken on July 4th)

To Anna, sunglasses mean we're headed outside, so she now tries to put them on my head to encourage me to venture out. I put these $5.99 Gymboree specials on her yesterday and she wouldn't take them off...until we got outside.

Sisters Weekend

Sisters weekend was a lot of fun. Most the pictures were taken on Mom and Jen's camera's, so bugging them may be in order. Saturday night we went to the Dodger game. Grandma didn't come, but Grandpa did. We had a great time and the Dodgers won. The Dodger dogs were tasty as well.

Other Activities:
Red Onion (most people went more than once)
Long Beach Quilt show (Friday, 11-7pm), which was pretty cool. It is amazing how long Mom and Ann can look at things.

Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for hosting us. And to all the husbands/babysitters/grandparents who helped out so we could have girl's weekend with limited interruptions.

Baby Lily's Blessing

we missed you

We are back from Disney World and of course it would have been more fun if you had all been there! Grandma and grandpa thanks for taking us ten years ago, that is one of my favorite family vacations ever. It was hot and sweaty just like you remember:) but lots of fun!

I think we'll wait at least 6 more years before going again, everyone will be old enough to really have fun. I am going to post a bunch of pictures later today.

I am not going to be at girls weekend next week (anyone surprised??), Greg will be at sea for the next three weeks. At that point, he will come home, help us move and then he is supposed to deploy on Hallie's 1st birthday (Sept 13). Fun times ahead! I look forward to being back in Utah the beginning of Sept! love you.

Today is Grandma & Grandpa's 59th Wedding Anniversary. Congratulations! Thanks for setting a great example, and we love you! Better start planning the big party (perhaps in Hawaii) for your 60th next year!
