60th Wedding Anniversary

Tomorrow is Grandma and Grandpa's 60th wedding anniversary. We are having a celebration at Tommy's Barbecue in the Old Heber Village. Dinner is at 5:30 and after dinner we are having dessert at Miller's Outpost.

Friends and Family Day

May 30th, 2009

We all had a great time! Greg's last day on the ship, our last day in Virginia, a truly amazing experience. We're so glad that mom & dad and grandma & grandpa could come and go with us.

Memorial Day

I don't know about the rest of you, but Memorial day isn't quite the same without breakfast at Grandma and Grandpa's and a barbecue at the Bickmore's. 

Happy Birthday, Oldest Great Grandchild!!!

This is the kid that ushered in the era of grandma and grandpa as great grandma and great grandpa. That all happened 19 years ago today! I for one, can't believe she's that old...I think Jen should post a scan of her birth certificate to prove it.

field trip to disneyland

I say field trip because a few comments directed at us included words like 'preschool' and 'busy'. I thought for sure we would blend into the crowd at Disneyland:) It was kind of fun, but mostly a lot of work and we might wait a while before trying that again...

Bird Watching

We were excited to see this bird in Honey's courtyard today. A call to Grandma Miller revealed that it's a Hooded Oriole. Beautiful!

Fun times in the play room

Last Sunday I spent some time in the play room, it was very entertaining!!! They loved doing crazy faces for the camera & taking their own pictures (Porter is a pretty good photographer) Here are some of my favorites! (I don't know where Lily& Seth were during pictures, and we missed Nick not being there too;)

The custody battle results...

Jason now has custody of Nicholas 50%!!! One week on & one week off. Thanks to everyone for everything these past two years.

We finally got it done!! Yay! I posted a few more pictures on our blog: http://www.justbreathe-johnson.blogspot.com/, but thought I'd post one here too- since we're not supposed to be neglecting the FAMILY blog- all you naughties!! Anyway, it was a beautiful day in essence (in reality it was cold, a little stormy, and horribly windy), but beautiful nonetheless!! It was fun to get the the McEuen/Miller/Cahow and Johnson families all together!! I wish we could do it more often.
