Paige Reed's Big Day

Bridget already sent out an email but just in case you didn't get it or you lose it, here is information on Paige's blessing this Sunday...

This is just a reminder to you all that we will be blessing Paige this Sunday, July 1st! Our ward meets at 9am in the South chapel at 945 E 700 N, Provo. We will have lunch at 1 pm at the Heber House. Hope to see you there!

-Bridget

P.S. I spoke with my mom tonight and she says to still plan on her and Papa being there. . . I'll keep you posted if anything changes, but for now plan on this Sunday. Oh and attached is a picture of Paige's first bubble bath :)

The Chub

Wow.

I guess I can stop wondering if she's getting enough to eat.

In the last picture, the other baby is six weeks older than Anna.

River Rats, Pre-K Grad, and the Birthday Girl

Here are some pictures Amber sent in...

Kate turned eight on June 9th and they are planning on baptizing her in St. George
the same weekend mom and Ruben get sealed. Parker "graduated" from pre-k. Amber says it was hysterical - they even walked down the aisle to pomp and circumstance.

Notice that Margaret is in the habit of grabbing things, including humans that are smaller than she is.

Also, please check out Elena's "shoes" in the picture of her and Nick. That is one funny - and apparently very creative - child.

Happy Birthday, Kate!!!

Bergen Update

Just some recent pics of the kids. As you can see, Allie went to prom -again- this time with her new boyfriend Bryson. They had lots of fun. She is at tennis camp at the Y this week and is working at Pizza Factory. She is enjoying her last summer before her senior year and working hard on her tennis game.

Tori and Cami both just finished the soccer season. Both their teams took first place. Tori's team finished 9-0 with a 39-1 goal differential for the season. Tori played sweeper and goalie and had an awesome year. She is currently in tryouts for the high school team.
Cami's team finished 9-0-1 with a 38-2 goal differential. She is one of the youngest on the team and has started the last few games. The teams also competed in the summer games last week. Neither team lost a game and both teams took the gold medal in very close games. Tori played goalie the entire tournament and only allowed 3 goals in five games against some of the top teams in the state!

Garrett just got done with baseball and his team took first place in their division. He played catcher for most of the year and had some really good hits. His birthday is on the 20th and he is on a 50 mile hike for scouts this week. Good luck! The pack almost weighed as much as he does!

We went to Lake Powell 2 weeks ago and had a blast. The kids all have camps this summer and we are going to the river the 2nd week in July. I'm hoping to come to Heber sometime during the week of the 16th.

Also we will be in the Salt Lake area for a soccer tournament between July 25-28. Hopefully we'll see some of you then. Hope everyone is having a fun summer!

On a more solemn note - Condolences to the McEuens on the passing of their Mother/Grandmother. I know you'll miss her.

Love you all, Jen

Emmetts Get a Few Hours Off

John sent a few pictures from California last weekend. Obviously Jack absolutely loved the kiddie pool in Irvine. John says it was shallow enough that he could run all over and make them chase him when he was in his floatie thing. You can see in the asparagus picture that his comb over still needs some work but he was able to do some damage with his little teeth.

The thing that stood out about this update, at least to me, was that Beth and John were actually able to go out and do something without Jack because he will finally take a bottle. Congratulations! This must open up whole new worlds to you two :). They went and saw Wicked at the Pantages in Hollywood for Beth's birthday and really enjoyed it.

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to all of our fathers...

To Grandpa, for being the the greatest grandpa in the world (and when even our friends agree, you know it has to be true).
To Papa, for being such an amazing father to kids who never deserved him.
To Scott, for being such a stalwart and never letting his kids down.
To Mike, for being a great example of what it means to support a family.
To Steve, for being willing to change diapers any time it's needed.
To Matt, for making 100% effort all the time to make his kids childhoods fun and happy.
To Jason, for being the bright light in his son's life.
To Morgan, for being a great example of what a father should be.
To Greg, for always being patient and loving his babies.
To Ben, for being totally in love with his little girl despite the fact that she's a girl.
To John, for being so proud of his little guy and for passing along that great smile.
To Eddie, for being so willing to do whatever the little guy needs, even if his mommy can do it.

We love you!

Steve Crashes the Stanley Cup Finals

Steve went down to the final game of the Stanley Cup in Anaheim last week. The lucky duck (ha ha! see what I did there?) and his friend Otto were invited by Teemu Selanne to come down on the ice after they won, into the locker room, to the players after party and then over to Teemu's house. When Steve called me from the airport the next morning to tell me he touched the Stanely Cup I told him I didn't hear him and to repeat himself. He said a little louder, "I touched the Stanley Cup!" so I said again, "Steve, I'm not hearing your right, I'm sorry." He then yelled into the phone, "I HOISTED THE STANLEY CUP!!!" Um, como?

I thought that thing had like full time guards or something, but no, the pictures prove it. Apparently it was a free for all as long as you were within arm's reach. Anyway, as you can tell, Steve was a wee bit excited; his only disappointment about the whole thing is his picture with Teemu came out a little blurry (picture #2). And my only disappointment is the he's going to be even more obsessed with hockey next season.

Paige's Blessing

Miss Paige will be blessed in Bridget and Ben's ward (the BYU 139th) on Sunday July 1st. Sacrament meeting begins at 9 am. The building is located at 945 E 700 N and is easy to find, but there are two chapels in the building. Their ward meets in the south chapel. She hopes to see everyone there!!!

Andrew is 9 Months Old...

Chelsea sent these pictures of Andrew, who is looking more and more like his father (in my opinion). She says he's been trying to crawl for a week now, but can't do much besides go backwards. Hey, it's progress. What a cutie.

Note to Chelsea: Pictures are great and all, but we'd like to know when we're going to get to see this kid in person...
